thenakedtruth.ca is the personal website of Cloud9 After Dark, a couple in Vancouver, BC. Discretion is the whole point of this lifestyle, so here’s exactly what we collect, why, and what we do (and never do) with it.
The short version
- We only collect what you choose to send us through our forms.
- It comes straight to our private inbox. It isn’t saved on this website.
- We use it only to reply to you. We never sell it, share it, post it or screenshot it.
- No ads, no tracking cookies, no analytics.
- Ask us any time and we’ll delete what we have.
What we collect and why
Knock Knock form
When you knock, we receive: your alias or first name (and your partner’s, if you’re a couple), ages, ethnicity, email address, chat app and username if you add one, what you tell us about yourself, and your Yes / No / Maybe answers. The passphrase is checked to let your message through. It isn’t kept.
We ask for ages to make sure everyone is 18 or older. Ethnicity, chat username and the Yes / No / Maybe answers are optional. Share only what you’re comfortable with. We use all of it for one thing only: deciding whether we might be a good match and writing back to you.
Brands & collabs form
For business enquiries we receive your company name, contact name, email, website and message. We use it only to reply to your enquiry.
Where your message goes and how long we keep it
Form messages are not stored in this website’s database. They’re delivered by email to our private inbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail). Only the two of us read it.
We keep a conversation for as long as we’re chatting with you. Messages that don’t lead anywhere are deleted within 12 months, and anything is deleted sooner if you ask.
Spam and security checks
- Rate limit: to stop spam floods, the site keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for one hour to count how many messages were sent. It’s deleted automatically after that hour.
- Cloudflare: the site uses Cloudflare for security, including the Turnstile “are you human?” check on our forms. Cloudflare processes technical details from your browser (like your IP address) to do this. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Hosting: like most websites, our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages visited, browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies and storage
We don’t use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. The only thing the site stores in your browser is a note that you’ve confirmed you’re 18+, so the age check doesn’t pop up on every page. It’s kept in session storage and disappears when you close the tab.
The site’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to download them. See Google’s privacy policy.
Links to other sites
We link to our profiles on other platforms, such as Telegram, WhatsApp, Snapchat, X, Reddit, OnlyFans, FetLife and RedGIFs. If you contact us there, that platform’s own privacy policy applies.
Photos
Every photo on this site is of us. We never post photos of anyone we meet. If you believe you appear in one of our photos, email us and we’ll take it down.
Adults only
This site is for adults 18 and over. If we learn that a message came from someone under 18, we delete it and don’t reply.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we have from you, correct it, or delete it. Just email us from the address you used, or tell us your alias. If you have a privacy concern we can’t resolve, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
